1. Overview

Ando Finance ("Ando," "we," "us," or "our") is a financial intelligence platform for home service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services at ando-systems.vercel.app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and create a secure account via Supabase Auth.

Business profile: We collect your business name, business type (e.g., pest control, HVAC), and team size to personalize financial insights.

Financial data via Plaid: With your explicit consent, we access your bank account data through Plaid Technologies, Inc. This includes account balances and transaction history (up to 90 days). We access this data in read-only mode — we never initiate transfers or move money.

Accounting data via QuickBooks (optional): If you connect QuickBooks Online, we access your profit & loss, balance sheet, and accounts receivable aging reports in read-only mode to provide more accurate financial figures.

Usage data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited to operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide financial analysis, dashboards, and AI-generated insights
• To detect unusual spending patterns and generate alerts
• To produce accountant-ready reports
• To send transactional emails (account invites, password resets)
• To improve our product and fix bugs

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Plaid Technologies, Inc. — to connect your bank accounts. Subject to Plaid's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — for database storage and authentication.
• Anthropic — to generate AI-powered financial insights. Financial data is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis.
• Vercel — for hosting and deployment.
• Stripe, Inc. — for payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — for sending transactional emails.
• Intuit QuickBooks Online — if you connect QuickBooks, we access your P&L, balance sheet, and A/R aging data in read-only mode to provide more accurate financial insights. Subject to Intuit's Privacy Statement.

5. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest (Supabase), and access controls limiting who can view your data. Your Plaid access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to the browser.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing frank@andosystems.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also revoke Plaid's access to your bank accounts at any time through my.plaid.com. To exercise any rights, contact us at frank@andosystems.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Ando Finance is intended for use by business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
